The best of our producers.

With the death of our Grandfather Lino Lonari in 2017, the oil mill passed under the management of the Ronca family who, to honour the memory and sacrifices of its founder, thanks to the experiences and love he passed down, decided to organise an internal competition at the mill every year among all the producers.

The oil samples delivered to Frantoio Il Mandorlo are tested by a committee composed of expert tasters, assisted by the presence of the panel leader Luciano Ronca.

The awards ceremony is generally held in the pre-Christmas period: it is not only an occasion to celebrate the holiday season together but also a time to further our knowledge of the world of green gold, the main farming practices that lead to the production of a valuable oil and the nutraceutical properties of extra virgin olive oil.
